Bei der Aufstellung zum Familienfoto mit den Junior-Delegierten des G-8-Gipfels in L’Aquila verirrten sich die Blicke der beiden Herren in Richtung der Brasilianerin Mayora Tavares. Tavares war als Junior-Delegierte gemeinsam mit dem brasilianischen Präsidenten Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva nach Italien gereist.

Doch vielleicht waren es gar nicht die Kurven, die das Interesse der beiden Staatsmänner erregten. Sondern etwas viel Banaleres: Tavares war zum Empfang zwar im Abendkleid erschienen – trug darunter aber nur Schlappen.

Es waren also bestimmt nur die Schuhe. Zumindest wäre das eine fast wasserdichte Erklärung.

Where was obama looking? At the butt of Mayora Tavares – junior delegate from Brazil? Was president really looking at a junior delegate from Brazil? These were the questions everyone asked about President Barack Obama after a after a photo of him at the G8 summit that showed the president looking at a junior delegate from Brazil Mayora Tavares.

The photo seems to be misleading after a video shown by U.S. TV network ABC showed the president was just looking down at the steps as he and France’s President Nicolas Sarkozy took their places for a photo with the junior delegates. In fact he was even trying to help a women to get down on steps.

He may be the world’s most powerful man but even Barack Obama is not immune to the charms of a nice bottom!
At the G8 summit in Italy, he was snapped apparently checking out the perfect curves of a young lady.
And French President Nicolas Sarkozy (54) was looking on in amusement
So who was the lady in red who caught the eye of Obama - or should that be O-BUM-a?
Mayora Tavares is at the centre of the 'O-bum-a-gate' affair - the 'did he or didn't he' look question that is being hotly debated around the world.
Her name is Mayora Tavares, she is 16 and she comes from Brazil.
Mayora was at the G8 summit in Italy as part of the J8 – a group of 53 people aged between 14 and 17 who have been meeting in Rome since the start of the week. The group were there to discuss how the lives of young people around the world can be improved.
After they presented their results and ideas on Thursday to their senior counterparts, the delegates had a group photo with them when Obama (47) was snapped.
But now Mayora has found herself at the centre of 'O-bum-a-gate', the 'did he or didn't he' question that is causing controversy around the world.
Video evidence has thrown doubt on the fact that Barack Obama was checking her out. But it now doesn't look good for President Sarkozy...

U.S. president Barack Obama said "he hates to shop" after his baggy pants were mocked as "mom jeans."
During an interview on NBC's "Today Show" Tuesday, he answered the fashion critics and defended himself.
Obama was in the poor-looking jeans when he threw out the ceremonial first pitch at the All-Star Game in St. Louis last week.
In the interview, Obama acknowledged that he "looked a little frumpy," but added he hates to shop and that "those jeans are comfortable."
"For people who want a president to look great in tight jeans, I'm sorry," he said.
The interview has however sparked renewed interest in the infamous jeans.
Searches surged on "Obama's mom jeans" and "Obama wears mom jeans," and even a few queries on "what kind of jeans does Obama wear?" could be seen.
It is said that some brave souls are looking to copy the president's devil-may-care look.

Mayora Tavares a member of J8, a group consist of 53 people aging from 14 to 17, this group started meeting in Rome at the start of last week to discuss how to change and improve the lives of youth all over the world. Mayora Tavares a 16-year-old member from Brazil become the center of attraction after U.S President Obama caught on camera checking Matora Tavares’s perfect BUM’s, yeah you red it right, “Mayora Tavares Bottom”.
President Obama may be the world’s most powerful man, but when it comes to the charms of nice bum’s even he could be snapped checking them out.

G8 summit held in Italy where this J8 group was present too and were conferencing on the issues of youth and for the betterment of young people’s lives. They have presented their ideas and results from their conference to their senior corresponding person.

After the presentation on Thursday the delegates had a group picture with their counterparts where U.S President Obama was snapped taking a brief look at the perfect curves of Matora Tavares, on the other hand Nicolas Sarkozy the French President was looking at President Obama with delight.

I tried to stop myself for not writing this line but I can’t….. I saw the photo and thought that what President Obama would be thinking and the only line came into my mind was this……Hhmmmm Politics can be sexy too.

Mayara Tavares is a 16-year-old Brazilian junior G8 delegate and lives in the outskirts of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Mayara Tavares inherited from her grandmother and father a passion to take part in community action and social movements and has been an activist in her community fighting for children and adolescent rights.
Mayara Tavares has recently acted as a community researcher interviewing other adolescents in the community about their lives and how it feels for them to be growing up in the shantytowns of Rio de Janeiro. Through this work she became part of a National Platform for the improvement of poor communities situated in large urban centers, an initiative carried out by UNICEF in Brazil. Mayara Tavares also became a member of the Youth Forum in her municipality and hopes that she can continue to engage her peers in this work.
