Now you are thinking that who was the girl who got the eye of Obama. The name of that young charming girl is Mayora Tavares. She is a teenager, 16 years old and she comes from Brazil. She was dressed in red in the G8 summit and she was there as a part of J8.
J8 is group consists of 53 people. The age of the members in this group is between 14 and 17. They have been meeting in Rome since the start of this week.
The main purpose of this group is to discuss that how they can improve the lives of the young people throughout the world. On Thursday, they presented their opinions and results to the
senior members of G8.
After presentation, the delegates had a group photo with the senior counterparts and on that occasion, 47-year-old American president Barack Obama was snapped while he was looking at the young girl’s bum.

Mayora Tavares, she is 16 and she comes from Brazil. Mayora was at the G8 summit in Italy as part of the J8 – a group of 53 people.
Mayara Tavares is 16 and lives in the outskirts of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She inherited from her grandmother and father a passion to take part in community action and social movements and has been an activist in her community fighting for children and adolescent rights. She has recently acted as a community researcher interviewing other adolescents in the community about their lives and how it feels for them to be growing up in the shantytowns of Rio de Janeiro. Through this work she became part of a National Platform for the improvement of poor communities situated in large urban centers, an initiative carried out by UNICEF in Brazil. She also became a member of the Youth Forum in her municipality and hopes that she can continue to engage her peers in this work."
The site had a listing of delegates from as far away as China.The sense you get from the site is that it must have been very exciting for children who undoubtedly had an interest in world affairs to be meeting the faces in the headlines.

Brazil will be represented by Fagner Moreira Lima, 14 years old, from Bahia; Mayara Tavares, 17, of Rio de Janeiro; Rosicler da Silva, 15 years of Pará; Plata and Santiago Garces, 15 years old, from Goiás The Brazilian were selected by making a difference in their communities.
During the J8, young people discuss the proposed themes - climate change, the financial crisis, poverty in Africa and the impact they cause in the lives of children and adolescents - and submit its recommendations to the Heads of State meeting at the G8 Summit.
